About the Public Health Sector

 
 
The Public Health Sector at the Ministry of Health in the State of Kuwait is concerned with all activities that preserve, protect and promote public health and address the challenges of combating infectious and non-infectious diseases, genetic diseases and unwanted radiation effects, in addition to proper nutrition and a healthy safe environment. The sector works according to policies and legislation within effective partnerships for the continuous development and improvement of these activities according to local, regional and global variables and related developments with optimal use of available resources


A Kuwaiti society that enjoys comprehensive and continuously evolving preventive healthcare and creates an environment that supports health and wellness, reduces the occurrence of diseases and their complications, and addresses epidemics and their consequences.



The Public Health Sector works to organize, monitor and develop activities that preserve, protect and promote public health according to policies and legislation and according to related variables and developments, within effective partnerships locally, regionally and globally.
