Arabian Gulf Street: The Arabian Gulf Street runs along the 22km Corniche from Salam Palace to Salmiya. You can drive or walk parts of it. Whether jogging or walking, the Cornish is the most pleasant and the most beautiful of walks in Kuwait by day or by night. Recreation parks, beaches and marinas have been built alongside the cornice.
Kuwait Towers: Located on the Arabian Gulf in the area of sharq. Kuwait Towers is one of the main tourist attractions in the State of Kuwait. The towers were designed by a Swedish company and executed by a Yugoslav company. They were built in 1975 and inaugurated in 1979. The plates that cover the balls are fifty five thousand in number. They are made of Chinese steel painted in eight different colors
The Avenues: mall is the largest mall and shopping center in Kuwait. It is soon to be one of the largest malls in the Middle East. The first phase of the mall, inaugurated by Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, officially opened in April 2007.
Tareque Rajab Museum, Jabriya: A private collection of historical articles including pottery, jewelers, ceramic works. Persian carpets, precious Quran writings and other valuable possessions.
Al-Qurain House: A dwelling bombarded by Iraq during the invasion of Kuwait and in that condition, many Kuwaiti “resistance” people were killed during this act.
Memorial Museum: The sequence of events which took place on August 2nd, 1990 and in the gulf war is displayed in this museum. A new world order was born that discards the theory of survival of the fittest or the weak eaten.
The Scientific Center of Kuwait: TSCK is a cultural achievement and educational facility enriched with knowledge, which portrays fascinating architectural design that reflects Islamic art and culture. It is dedicated to advancement of sciences and cultural heritage of Kuwait. The center promotes public awareness, knowledge and commitment to the care and conservation of the wild life ecosystems. The walls contain ceramic depictions of stories that tell of Kuwait’s history. The main building is comprised of 3 main attractions: the Aquarium, Discovery Place and IMAX Theater.
Aquarium: The Scientific Center’s Aquarium (the largest in the Middle East Region so far), allows visitors to witness representations of the three main environments in the Arabian Peninsula region: the sea, the desert and the coastal edge. Each area contains specimens of animal, plant and marine life found in that region.
Discovery Place: Discovery Place is a place that invites the visitors to discover science through play and fun. The exhibits at Discovery Place are distinct in their suitability for all ages.
IMAX Theater: 3D Educational and documentary films for all ages are shown using the largest film format in the film industry (10 times the usual 35mm film).
Old Souk (Market): Full of flavor of the past which covers each of its originality. The life of the past days comes to us when we see it. The trade of the old Kuwait markets comes to our minds. There are wide varieties of oriental and traditional merchandise.
Sadu House: was established in the year 1979 in order to preserve local Bedouin handicraft traditions. The crafts of knitting wool, weaving and tent making by the Bedouins are displayed in this museum. A conventional craft of major importance was Sadu weaving. Sadu weaving is basically the geometric designs woven with dyed, spun and colored wool. You can see numerous crafts, textiles and hand made pieces.
