Location & Climate: the state of Kuwait is located to the northwest of the Arabian gulf. The total population is about 3.4 millions. Due to its location in a desert geographic region, climate is characterized by long dry hot summer and short winter. During the conference, in the month of March weather is usually pleasant.
Language: the official language in Kuwait is Arabic and second language is English.
Transport: Taxis are readily available from the airport to you required destination.
Currency: the Kuwaiti Dinars which is almost equal to 3.5 US Dollars.
Stores Hours: Shops open from 9: 00 am to 1: 30 pm and from 4: 00 pm to 10: 00 pm. As for the co-ops some stay open 24 hours while others close at midnights.
Shopping: The market in Kuwait features an abundance of merchandise which makes shopping a pleasant experience. Traditional souks are found in the center of town and offer numerous products such as crafts and traditional art. There are also modern shopping centers located in every region of the country.
